Returns & Refunds
I want you to love your piece. If something doesn’t feel right, here’s how returns work.
5.1 Returns
- You can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original packaging.
- Custom, personalised, bespoke pieces can’t be returned unless they arrive faulty.
5.2 Refunds
- Once your return is received and checked, I’ll email you to confirm whether it has been approved.
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is your responsibility unless the item was faulty.
6. Repairs
I want your Vi Quing pieces to last and be worn for years, so I offer repair services.
6.1 Complimentary Repairs
If your piece arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault within 90 days, I’ll repair it free of charge.
6.2 Paid Repairs
For damage caused by wear, accidents, or other external factors, I can still help.
- Repairs are available for a fee depending on the work needed.
- Please email me at hello@viquing.com with photos so I can assess the damage and send you a quote.
- Repair times usually take 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the piece.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, text, and content on this website belong to Vi Quing.
Please don’t reproduce or use them without permission.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is handled respectfully and securely, in line with my Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
I’m not responsible for indirect or consequential losses connected to the use of my website or products.
My liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law. Any disputes will be handled by UK courts.
Repairs
I believe jewellery should be worn, loved, and cared for and when something goes wrong, I’ll always try to help.
Complimentary (within 90 days)
Covers manufacturing faults such as:
- Loose settings
- Faulty links causing chain breakage
- Faulty clasps or closures
Paid Repairs
Covers issues like:
- Snapped chains from force
- Dents, scratches, or bends
- Missing stones not due to manufacturing faults

Jewellery Care
A few simple habits will help keep your jewellery beautiful for years.
Daily Wear
- Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotions, and hair products.
- Remove before exercising, showering, swimming, or sleeping.
- Avoid contact with chemicals, sunscreen, and cleaning agents.
Cleaning
- Wipe pieces gently with a soft polishing cloth.
- Sterling silver pieces may occasionally need a silver polish cloth to prevent tarnish.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Storage
- Store jewellery individually in its pouch or box to prevent tangling or scratches.
- Keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
- For silver pieces, sealed pouches help reduce tarnishing.
Specific Materials
- Pearls: Keep away from perfumes and alcohol; wipe after wearing.
- Gemstones: Avoid extreme temperature changes.
- Gold-plated pieces: Plating will naturally wear over time; avoid friction, chemicals, and water to prolong its life.
